With the possibility of taking advantage of two complete modes of transport, STVA possesses the largest combined fleet of car transport trucks and rail wagons in Europe, with nearly 1,000 trucks and 3,800 rail wagons.

The fleet of trucks is relatively new with an average age of 5 years. All of the tractor-units are equipped with the latest technology in terms of consumption and carbon emissions, and the trailer-units are analysed for maximum load efficiency.

We have adapted our fleet of rail wagons to the large variety of vehicles transported (city-dwellers, SUV, etc.) and to the constraints of the different rail clearances of the networks used. Since 2008, nearly 1,000 rail wagons have thus been transformed or are in the process of being transformed to allow loading of vehicles on two levels up to a height of 1.80 metres, to accommodate transport over most of the European networks.
